Juarez City.-Through a statement, the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) reported that the element of the corporation that was attacked with bullets this afternoon at the intersection of Bernardo Norzagaray and Cloro boulevard streets, in the Altavista neighborhood, died while he was receiving medical attention.
It was detailed that the officer, who was enjoying his vacation period, was shopping in a supermarket when he was surprised by armed individuals who left him seriously injured.
The SSPM announced that the emergency services were immediately notified, who transferred him to a hospital, however, he managed to survive due to the injuries he presented.
The deceased police officer, who was named Pedros Vargas Frayre, 44, joined the corporation on March 21, 2022, and was attached to the radio patrol area.
