Theories, hypotheses and even presumed ‘appearances’ of legendary characters in tapes that are not of their origin have managed to drive even the most incredulous of moviegoers crazy. Although there are various ‘connections’ between productions such as “Los Locos Addams” and “Harry Potter”, nothing has been as crazy as this epic crossover between one of the most emblematic figures of the Christmas holidays with the terrifying saga of “Jigsaw”.
In this sense, the Christmas parties are not exempt from this trend, reinforced by moviegoers, lovers of the seventh art and followers of good cinema. One of the most recent says that “Kevin McCallister”protagonist of “My poor angel”, is actually the main villain of “Saw: Macabre Game”. We are talking about “John Kramer”, also known as “Jigsaw”.

Crazy or not, the truth is that this recent theory has been a success on social networks such as Twitter, where it has even been said that both have similar characteristics when it comes to demonstrating their methods of torture. Have you seen it before?
WHAT IS THIS UNION BETWEEN “MI POOR LITTLE ANGEL” AND “JIGSAW” ABOUT?
As we know, the plot of “My Poor Little Angel” focuses on an American family that goes to France to celebrate the Christmas holidays, however, they forget Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) on the way. Thus, the blond boy manages to stay alone in a house, until he is attacked by two rather clumsy thieves who fall one by one into the protagonist’s traps.

Although the jokes that “Kevin” uses on the tape are very comical and even funny, several of them would be fatal if used against a human being. Among the most harmful traps are the burning torch attached to a door or the nails on the stairs.
But how does the innocent “Kevin” relate to the evil and masochism of James Wan and Leigh Whannell’s horror franchise?? Well, the answer lies in the imagination: both are characters who, due to their quick inventiveness, are able to catch their ‘victims’ In a blink of an eye.

Now, it is worth remembering that the antagonist of “Jigsaw”, who is an engineer diagnosed with terminal cancer, seeks revenge against humanity, since, according to his perspective, they only dedicate themselves to trivial issues and are mostly selfish.
Both the protagonist of the Christmas film and the villain of the horror saga have several similarities in punishing criminals, having very damaged and distant relationships with their family circle, and designing deadly traps to punish their adversaries. Although the ‘victims’ of “Kevin” appear to be inexperienced thieves, it is the antagonist of the horror saga who brings together people with a much more serious criminal history to be tried and, obviously, tortured.
Be that as it may, we can’t imagine one of the most well-known iconic figures of Christmas turning into an avenging psychopath years later. However, the theory outlines that the actor was severely damaged by all the problems in his life, which ended in a sudden terminal illness. Do you think there is a relationship between the two?
