Tanguy Ndombélé could stay with SSC Napoli a little longer. how FT learned from France, the 26-year-old Frenchman is open to staying with the southern Italians after his loan. Talks between Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur are planned for early January. The SSC can sign Nbombélé permanently for 32.5 million euros.

The reason for the planned meeting at the beginning of the year: Napoli would like to lower the purchase price. Not an easy task given the tough negotiators. Both Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and Spurs boss Daniel Levy are not known for handing out discount coupons. For his part, Ndombélé found his sporting happiness again on Vesuvius. The midfielder’s services have been in demand in 18 competitive games so far.
