A difficult childhood linked to a domestic accident

If Nawell Madani always has a smile, it has not always been the case. His youth was not all rosy. While she was talking about how easy it was to get good grades at school even if she “was working at the last minute”, the playground was a real ordeal for her. “I had a difficult childhood, I had third degree burns”, she explained. This caused physical sequelae which thus generated the mockery of the other students. “I had no hair, just a little monk cut and all around, I was doing a little quilt. In Belgium, we have a nickname, clashcop, it means bald or ass head. The little ones called me that”, says the actress. When Guillaume Pley asks her how it all happened, she explains: “I got third degree burns making french fries. I was making fries at home, I was dancing at the age of two and a half and the deep fryer tipped over on me. It’s going very fast.” A test that makes her today very vigilant with her one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter.

Bald until he was fifteen

It’s not the first time that Nawell Madani evokes this period of his life. In the documentary One, Two, Three Nawell Madani, broadcast on C8 in 2019, the young woman went to the hospital where she was treated. The opportunity for her to visit other seriously burned children. “It’s hard, my God” dropped the actress when she saw a bedridden child.
