The season of NBA It is hot with the teams that have already secured their qualification for the Playoffs. However, in the stands there is a burning situation that seems to take away the players’ concentration.
According to an article in The Athletic, fans who entered each game to watch their favorite team ended up booing a star for “ruining their bet.”
The point is that the bets sports increase their visibility in the NBA, after being accepted and promoted by the same league.
Fans bet live on whether a player will score, block or pass the ball, but when that doesn’t happen satisfactorily bettors yell and insult their favorite players because they lost money.
“It’s getting outrageous,” noted PJ Tucker of the LA Clippers. “It’s getting a little crazy. Even in the arenas, hearing fans yell at guys about their bets. It’s unreal. It’s a problem. “I think it’s something that needs to be addressed.”
Teams have yet to make drastic changes to their security details and the NBA is making no further recommendations to safeguard the court. But at least one team added an additional security guard to its bench this season, in response to increased belligerence infused by the game.
“It’s everywhere,” said Ochai Agbaji, a guard for the Toronto Raptors. “He’s the wild west right now.”
The problem is that there is a lot of acceptance in the league and they promote betting for their followers. Teams now partner with casinos and build their arenas next to them.
Broadcasters, long oblivious to this topic, now commonly cite betting information during broadcasts.

The NBA recently announced it would allow fans watching games on its streaming app to track betting odds and click to place bets with the league’s betting partners, FanDuel and DraftKings.
The hatred of the fans towards the players is a headache for those on the court. If they are not strong-minded enough, they may fall into despair and problems that ruin their ability in the game.
“You see people on Twitter (X), you know, fans going back and forth with players on Twitter about how they lost their money,” Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum said. “I guess it’s kind of fun. I don’t know. I guess I feel bad when I don’t get people’s parlays right. I don’t want them to lose money. But, you know, I just go out there and try to play the game.”
