The Tolosa Neighborhood Assembly will present a note to the provincial government to request the “water emergency declaration” in La Plata together with the meeting of neighborhood signatures that it is carrying out.

The request is due -according to what they indicated- to “ABSA company does not comply with the service and does not comply with the consideration”. They also added that, what leads them to present said note, are “all the claims received from the neighbors and the suffering from such temperatures that our children, grandparents and neighbors suffer due to the lack of the vital element to cool off, sanitize and drink from it”.

To this end, the Assembly went out to collect signatures. This Sunday it will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the intersection of 2 and 530. They intend to join residents of other affected neighborhoods in La Plata so that the request takes greater force.

It is that Tolosa is not the only neighborhood affected. In Villa Elvira, the inhabitants took to the streets to protest the same situation. While in Berisso, the situation is also critical, where in some areas it is reported that this dates back a year.

The claims for failures in the drinking water network actually managed to settle with an endless list of areas affected by low pressure or directly by the lack of liquid in the taps to face the heat of the summer months.
