Five new Premium features for Youtube has been revealed and is now available in the paid version of the video service. The features are primarily aimed at mobile users; among other things, it will now be possible to queue videos also on smartphones and tablets and Android users will be able to watch videos together in Meet Live Sharing and IOS users can do it via Shareplay in Facetime.

The YouTube app will also automatically download your recommended videos when it has access to Wi-Fi. It should also be easier to switch between devices and continue checking where you left off, from mobile to browser, for example.

Within the next few weeks, YouTube Premium subscribers on IOS will also get access to a higher bitrate to the resolution 1,080p. However, the regular version of the resolution will remain for non-paying users.

These new functions will therefore be locked behind YouTube Premium’s paywall, which currently costs SEK 119 a month.
