ONetflix viewers will be able to watch the return of ‘Bird Box’ in July with a new film that will take place in Barcelona. The original, released in 2018 and starring Sandra Bullock, remains one of the streaming service’s most popular and iconic films.
‘Bird Box Barcelona’ is apparently the first of several versions of the film that will take place in different locations across Europe and Asia. Remember that, in the original film, a mysterious ‘wave’ of mysterious suicides begins that are related to the existence of invisible creatures, which leads the remaining population to use blindfolds to keep themselves safe.
‘Bird Box Barcelona’ stars Georgina Campbell, Mario Casas, Diego Calva and Alejandra Howard, with Alex and David Pastor directing. The premiere is scheduled for July 14th and you can already see the first trailer above.
