This Monday the week starts with a subway strike. The metro delegates confirmed the measure of force after claims that were ignored by the companies EMOVA and SBASE.

Specifically, the Association of Subway Workers and Premetro (Agtsyp) demand a reduction in working hours, which is part of the measures to combat exposure to asbestos.

Let’s remember that a subway worker recently died for no apparent reason, and the autopsy showed that it could have been due to exposure to this toxic component, which is found in some elements of the subway.

According to the statement published on their social networks, there will be a new reduction in services on lines B and C during the night.

There will be an opening of the turnstiles from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Leandro N. Alem and Rosas stations on Line B, and Constitución y Retiro on Line C.

Subsequently, from 10 p.m. to closing time there will be a service interruption on these two lines.
