Last year, CD Projekt Red revealed that there are a number of new Witcher projects in the works, including one with the working name Project Sirius from studio The Molasses Flood. They didn’t want to say anything concrete about the game at the time, but now some details have apparently found their way online.

Reddit-users have noted via a number of job postings at The Molasses Flood that it appears the game is quite different from previous installments in the series. For example, there will be some kind of multiplayer mode, because they are looking for someone who can create “engaging multiplayer gameplay features, game modes, player progression, and social systems”.

In addition to classics such as “voiced dialogue” and “cinematic cutscenes”, several of the entries also mention “experience working with procedural generation systems”, which could mean that the game will be partly randomly generated.

Several positions also indicate that it is good if the applicants have worked with “stylized” graphics, suggesting that the studio’s Witcher adventure will not have a realistic style.
