In anticipation of FIFA 23’s Road to the Final campaign, which is expected to kick off in a few days, EA soccer players are lashing out at the company’s support team after a player lost over 6 million coins to a hacker and received ridiculous compensation.

Long-time community members are now angry with the developers for the disappointing anti-cheat system implemented on the latest FIFA. However, the problem also affects hackers’ access to other players’ squads and, in one specific case, a player saw high value players vanish from his account. Among them are Paul Pogba, Dirk Kuyt, Xabi Alonso and, above all, the Kylian Mbappe POTM Squad Building Challenge card which, alone, is worth two million coins according to FUTBIN data.

Well, come on Reddit he told his story showing the private discussion he had with a member of the support team, who has it compensated with just 2,474 FUT Coins. According to what was explained, the players he lost were either discarded by the hacker – in the case of non-tradable FUT cards – or sold for ridiculous figures to other bot accounts and then bounced back to personal game accounts.

EA has not released any comments to the public but, given the fury of the community, you might expect a response to the post over the next few days. Considering that it now has 1.1k upvote on Reddit, the post is very likely to end up in the feed of at least one staff member.

In the meantime, we remind you that FIFA 23 Future Stars Team 2 is available.
