Bayern professional switches to promoted RB Leipzig
Newcomers RB Leipzig have signed reinforcements from FC Bayern Munich for their first Bundesliga season. Julia Landenberger is moving to the current second division table leader on a one-year loan basis. The club announced on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old central defender was primarily used for Bayern’s second job this season and played 18 games in the second division. Leipzig had previously signed Sandra Starke from VfL Wolfsburg and Nina Räcke from SGS Essen.
Veteran Danner stops with the German record champions
Longtime manager Karin Danner will leave the women of Bayern Munich on June 30 of her own volition. Since 1995 she has worked for the Munich team. Bianca Rech, who has been team manager and sports director since 2016, will take over her position as head of department. Under Danner, the Munich team won the championship three times (most recently in 2021) and the DFB Cup once (2015).
“Our women’s soccer department is her life’s work – and that’s more than successful,” said club president Herbert Hainer. Chairman of the board Oliver Kahn added that the 64-year-old “has had a lasting impact on this unique success story as a player and above all as a manager” and that she will “always be a face of FC Bayern”.

According to information from Sky, Bayern want to sit down with Benjamin Pavard’s management at the end of the season. The right-back still has a contract until June 2024. An extension of the working paper is therefore a question of money.
Pavard is not one of the top earners at the German record champions. An agreement and contract extension or a sale of the Frenchman are possible. Pavard himself recently spoke openly about a change. The defender was repeatedly associated with FC Barcelona.
