Nintendo still doesn’t give up on its Miis, which The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom proves again.
As in Breath of the Wild, the Miis also serve as the base for most NPCs in the game world in Tears of the Kingdom.

“Just like in Breath of the Wild, the human NPCs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom use an enhanced version of Miis!” wrote Twitter user Alice.
Changes to it are not possible in the normal way, but via modding they are.

It’s a shame that Nintendo doesn’t offer an official option for this. Some would certainly appreciate seeing NPCs in the game based on friends’ misses.
The Miis were first introduced in the Wii generation, although the customization options were relatively limited. Avatars are rarely used these days.
