THE Kumia Chinese brand that has gained strength in the world market through its smart watches, launched this week the Kumi Meta V1, a smart eyewear that allows you to connect to your smartphone to interact with functions, listen to music and phone calls, among other features. In addition to it, the company also announced the Watch GT6 and KU6 watches.
Kumi Meta V1, the new smart glasses
The main objective of the Kumi Meta V1 is to combine the useful with the pleasant, after all, on a sunny day, it can protect your eyes with the transition lenses, which darken according to the level of sunlight. But beyond that, these glasses are smart, but not to the point of reproducing images on the lens like those we see in science fiction movies.
In fact, it’s the temples that allow the glasses to be smart. Starting with its light and transparent design, we can observe the inner hardware of the rods. It has support for voice assistants, like Siri or Bixbybeing able to interact, ask questions and schedule tasks intelligently.
Still on the rods, the Meta V1 has a stereo sound system that allows the user to listen to music or a phone call while having his glasses on his face. The connection to the cell phone is made through the bluetooth 5.0 low energy consumption. Speaking of consumption, Kumi guarantees up to 5 hours of use with the sound volume at 100% and up to 8 hours if you keep it at half that.
For this, the glasses have two 90 mAh batteries, one on each side, which are recharged by a single USB-C port. In addition, the Kumi Meta V1 has IPX5 protection, which allows the glasses to be wet without any concern.

The Kumi Meta V1 is available on AliExpress at a special launch price. Its official price is R$ 562.08, but until January 13th it is going for R$ 275.41. It is worth remembering that shipping is free throughout Brazil, but the product may be taxed at Brazilian customs, as this is an international purchase.
