With his own ZDF program, Giovanni Zarrella inspires an audience of millions. The moderator gave a look behind the scenes of the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” online.

Berlin – On April 22, 2023, the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” ran for the seventh time. The host Giovanni Zarrella (45) welcomed celebrities like Howard Carpendale (77), Ben Zucker (39), Santiano, Eloy de Jong (50) and Maite Kelly (43). The former Bro’Sis star himself also performed for his audience. He even showed online what it looked like backstage during production.

Rehearsals and hugs – at the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” there is a warm atmosphere

In an Instagram video, the moderator presented what the preparations for the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”, in which Maite Kelly performed without Roland Kaiser and received criticism, looked like for him. “2:22 p.m. It’s showtime in six hours. Wincent Weiss is rehearsing right now, I have a duet with him right away. We only met for the first time today,” Giovanni told his followers. At the same time you can see him embracing numerous of his guests, such as Wayne Carpendale.

Giovanni Zarrella seems to be quite taken with Wincent Weiss (30). “I just saw Wincent Weiss’ upper arms and decided to leave my jacket on during the performance,” joked the moderator after the rehearsal. Shortly thereafter, he was even able to look forward to a compliment from the “Feuerwerk” interpreter. “You smell good,” Wincent remarked. Afterwards, Giovanni can be seen in several sequences in a good mood with his guests on stage or laughing in conversation.

When is the Giovanni Zarrella Show coming back?

On July 22, the fans of the big music event can look forward to it again. Then the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” goes into the eighth round. This time Giovanni Zarrella will welcome his guests in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. The acts have not yet been revealed, but the entertainer himself will certainly be back on stage and perform some hits from his album “Per Semper (Edizione Da Capo)”, which will be released on May 5th.

Giovanni Zarrella thinks emotionally about his show debut

There is even an emotional moment during the rehearsals with some dancers. He and his crew are thinking back to the first show on September 11, 2021, which also took place in the Berlin Velodrom. Since then, he has grown closely with his team. “That confidence I feel when I look into your eyes. I know you are there. You are there for me, you let me shine,” he praised his choreographers

At the end of the video, Giovanni Zarrella can be seen completely happy after the show. “An unforgettable evening. Many beautiful moments, I can’t even say which was the best. It’s like a rush,” he gushed in retrospect. However, the quota was quite low compared to the previous editions. In the meantime, there is even new competition for the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” in the ZDF program with the series event “Der Schwarm”. Sources used: Instagram / giovannizarella
