From April 24th to May 26th, Netzgesellschaft Potsdam (NGP) will be cleaning the gullies on several main streets and at major intersections in the state capital. As the NGP announced, the work will take place at night. “These are busy roads, which would make daytime work difficult or impossible,” the statement said. In addition, cleaning during the day would impede traffic. The State Environment Agency approved the night work.
Ten minutes per run
According to the information, cleaning takes no more than ten minutes per street gully. Noise may be a nuisance to residents during the work. These will be held from April 24th to 28th, from May 8th to 12th and from May 22nd to 26th between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Affected are the Rudolf-Breitscheid-Strasse and the Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse in Babelsberg, the streets Am Neuen Garten and the Alleestrasse, the Reiterweg, the Kurfürstenstrasse, the Hegelallee, the Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse, the Zeppelinstrasse, the Berliner Strasse, the entrances and exits of the Nutheschnellstraße, the Hans-Thoma-Straße, the Behlertstraße, the Schopenhauerstraße and the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße at the height of the Unity Square.
