The team at the DxOMark website, known globally for evaluating cell phones, released this Friday (26) the result of the model’s screen test Nothing Phone 1. The device did not excite the examiners very much and received an average score.

Nothing Phone 1 achieved a final score of 120 and ranked 89th in the DxOMark global ranking and 12th in the top ranking list. The model was surpassed by devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultrafor example.

As positive points, the evaluators highlighted the fluid and precise touch when browsing, viewing an application from the gallery and playing, in addition to good brightness in low-light environments and good color reproduction in indoor and outdoor lighting conditions.

On the other hand, as negative points, the lack of brightness and readability in external lighting conditions was mentioned, in addition to the lack of uniformity of the screen in terms of brightness and color, and frequent and visible image speed problems when playing a game.

Finally, the equipe do DxOMark concluded that the Nothing Phone 1’s display performance was smooth, accurate and responsive, providing a comfortable tactile experience when browsing the web or using social media, for example.

Remember that the Nothing Phone 1 screen is a 6.55-inch OLED, with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The relationship between the screen and the body of the device is 86.4% and the display has 402 PPI density.
