In November last year, we saw the emergence of information related to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, a GPU that offered 16 GB and could reach the market to thicken competition in the global video card market.

Since then, much has happened and the project, which had few details revealed, ended up being discontinued and NVIDIA continued its journey by presenting other options and working on new products, such as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, which had specifications recently leaked on the official website and the emergence of GeForce RTX 4090 for notebooks in benchmarks.

Despite the project being cancelled, an interesting novelty emerged this week for enthusiasts: the release by MEGAsizeGPU of images of what becomes the Founders Edition, or in practical terms, of a prototype of the model that did not officially hit the market. .

As can be seen below, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti follows the aesthetic standards already known by fans of the brand, and can be found on the market in Founders Edition boards available for purchase on the internet, with a special presence in the North American market.

Another detail revealed by MEGAsizeGPU was a print of the CPU-z application, thus allowing us to check more details of the card, including confirmation that yes, it would be the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, although this information is not explicit on the external casing.

Among the information that we can highlight in this short print, we have confirmation that it uses the PCIe 4.0 (x16) bus interface, has 16 GB GDDR6, 256-bit bus and 512 GB/s bandwidth, in addition to a base clock of 1590 MHz and boost up to 1800 MHz.

Unfortunately, information about benchmarks and more details were not released but it is interesting to see that the project actually existed and that its project ended up not going forward due to problems seen in the market in the period it would be released, such as the shortage of GDDR6(X) chips and the oversupply of Ampere chips.

In any case, it remains for us now to look forward and wait for the official announcement of news from the brand, with the main highlight being the RTX 4070 Ti, which should be presented during CES 2023.
