Two brothers aged 5 and 7 were shot dead in the Oise on Friday evening, the Senlis prosecution said, adding that according to the first elements of the investigation, the father, also found dead, could have killed them before suicide.

The police were notified around 11 p.m. by a call to 17, on a “possible tragedy” at the home of a 43-year-old man, residing in Nogent-sur-Oise, said the prosecutor of Senlis Loïc Abrial, in a press release. press.

The firefighters and the Samu who arrived on the spot could only note the death of the two brothers and their father.

“According to the first findings and the testimonies collected, the hypothesis of a double homicide committed by the father, followed by his suicide seemed the most probable”, he added, specifying that the father was separated from the mother of the children.

A flagrant criminal investigation for assassinations was opened overnight from Friday to Saturday, and entrusted to the Creil police station, said the prosecutor. Autopsies are scheduled for the coming week.
