Millions of viewers tune in every Sunday at 8:15 p.m crime scene to be seen on ARD.
There will be a new episode on January 8, 2023. The scene of the crime is in Dresden and viewers can look forward to “Dead Heart” with the team of inspectors Schnabel, Winkler and Gorniak are happy!

Family drama in Dresden: Patrick Teichmann discovers the body of his mother-in-law Heike Teichmann in the greenhouse. The first suspect is Yuri Novak, the gardener’s helper, who fled the scene with the murder weapon. One thing is clear for Patrick: it was Juri.
But things are not that simple. The Teichmann family’s business is anything but idyllic. So Nadine, the daughter of the deceased, is also targeted by the team from Gorniak ( Karen Hanczewski), Winkler ( Cornelia Groeschel) and beak ( Martin Brambach).
Nadine and Patrick’s marriage is about to end, the deceased gardener has not had a relationship for years. The autopsy revealed that she suffered from Broken Heart Syndrome. What happened?
The investigators find that the roots of what happened go far back into the past. Family connections, mysterious leads, the sudden disappearance of witnesses – Gorniak, Winkler and the emotionally upset Schnabel (who was kidnapped in the last episode) have to solve all of this. Then the granddaughter of the deceased is kidnapped and the race against time begins…
