There are only a few hours left before New Year’s Eve and the traditional burning of dolls in the City is taking shape. Local artists who put all their effort for months are finishing the details for the presentation of their creations.
The Municipality of La Plata registered until this Wednesday the 28th the registration of 56 structures to participate in the first place. It will be an unforgettable year, with a significant number of tributes to the National Team, among others.
People from La Plata will be able to vote for their favorite momo from tomorrow, Thursday, December 29, until Saturday, December 31, at 11:59 p.m. on the municipality’s page. The first place will be awarded with $150 thousand pesos; second place will take $100 thousand; the third place $50 thousand and the fourth place will get $30 thousand pesos.

The 56 registered momos will participate in the categories “Scenography”, “Creativity”, “Idea” and “Completion”. Also, for the first time, local artists will be able to set up food and non-alcoholic beverage stands nearby to cover expenses.
