The trial for the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa is coming to an end and this Thursday it was the turn of the defense arguments by the lawyer Hugo Tomei. After the lawyer’s presentation and an intermission period, the defendants had the opportunity to express themselves, and they all did so equally.

What did each of the defendants say at the end of the trial?
“I wanted to apologize to Fernando’s family for everything caused. I am very sorry for what happened, I am very bad from what happened that day until today. Very sad about everything that happened. And, to all the people it affects, I want to sincerely apologize. I never intended to kill anyone or participate in any murder, not at all. Thank you for this moment and for listening to me.”
“I want to apologize to all the people affected by what happened. It’s something that hurts a lot to this day and is very sad. Actually, there was no plan or anything that is said. Thank you for listening to me.”
“I want to apologize to Fernando’s family, I never wanted this to happen, I never had any plan, no intention to kill anyone. Every day I think about it, every day I am sorry for what happened. I hope I can turn back time , but you can’t anymore. But I want to make it clear that I never meant to kill anyone.”
“I am very sorry for everything that happened. Please, apologize to the family for having been in the place, in a fight where a boy of our age died. He is very ugly.
