Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness turned out to be a disappointment for some fans. The trips to the promised in the title Multiverse from Marvel were limited – as were the director’s imaginative horror interludes Sam Raimi left a lot to be desired, which we include in our Movie review of the Marvel strip noted. The film could have been so much more, but after countless Script changes was the result we got in the end. Now it turns out that the original plan was to send one of Doctor Strange’s most popular characters to the afterlife.
Multiverse of Madness or rather Madness in Script
It was known long before the release of Doctor Strange 2 that the movie script was subject to constant changes. Among other things, this was due to the fact that the film was produced during the pandemic period and the directors were also changed. One of these changes affected the film’s opening sequence, in which Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch from Karl Mordo should have been confronted and accordingly transported to the afterlife.
Wong should have died
Now it turned out that another character should have died. newly released concept art from the production of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (buy now €12.99 ) namely show that in addition to Mordo also Wong should have been among the victims of the Scarlet Witch. Wong acted in the film now as Sorcerer Supreme and is one of the most popular characters from the film series.
In very explicit drawings shows what the two characters should have looked like after the film’s antagonist finished with them. You can take a look for yourself here, but if you don’t like seeing blood, severed body parts or entrails, you should probably just leave it alone.
Which variant of Wong this should be, remains a mystery so far. Both Mordo and Wong, now that they remain happily alive, are likely to have big roles in Doctor Strange 3 play, but there is no release date for the film yet. According to rumours, this is yet to come Avengers: Secret Wars come to the cinemas.
