This new video game adventure of the Straw Hat crew will be available this Friday, January 13 and to wait, the studio has just unveiled a little surprise. Indeed, starting tomorrow, January 10, a demo will be available on all platforms.

Developers seek to convince the undecided

Announced just under a year ago, One Piece Odyssey is an RPG produced by ILCA under the Bandai Namco umbrella. In this new story, written by Eiichiro Oda, the author of the cult manga, Luffy and his friends will end up on the island of Waford where they will face the loss of their powers. You will thus be led to survey this new environment, but also the memories of the past adventures of the crew in order to regain all your skills.

After showing many minutes of gameplay, ILCA wants players to get an idea of the controller in hand and will be offering a demo this Tuesday, January 10. This will have a duration of one to two hours and will offer to live the introduction of One Piece Odyssey. The opportunity to familiarize yourself with the different mechanics of the title. And if the studio specifies that they will not all be present in the demo, the latter should however allow to have a broad overview.

With this announcement, ILCA has a very specific objective in mind and does not hide it: to convince those who doubt the quality of the title. Katsuaki Tsuzuki, producer of the game, is well aware that there are still many players who are afraid of being bored in One Piece Odyssey. It is therefore to prove them wrong that this demo exists. Convinced of the quality and richness of its work, the studio intends to make it a success and wants to put all the chances on its side.
