OPPO will reveal new models of the Reno series soon, with the arrival of the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro. The models have had a wealth of new information revealed over the past few days as we approach their launch scheduled for next week.

Several news have been shared so far. The simplest model, Reno 10, has already undergone certification at the FCC where some details have been revealed. For example, it should have a 5,000 mAh battery, weigh 183 grams and measure 162.43 x 74.19 x 7.99 mm.

That is, its battery will be 500 mAh larger than the Reno 9, while being a little thicker and heavier — the Reno 9 is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 174 grams.

Official images for the release of the new devices reveal the final design of the devices, which must leave aside the large square modules in favor of an oval solution, where their three rear cameras should be located.

In these images, you can see at least two color options, violet and gold, as well as the official date for the reveal of the Reno 10 series models: May 24.

Line Reno 10 should be premium intermediaries

Technical specifications of the duo were also shared by the informant Digital Chat Station, anticipating news about them. Reno 10, for example, should be presented with a 6.7-inch screen with Full HD resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and curvature to the sides.

In addition, it must have a Snapdragon 778G processor with 12 GB of RAM, but nothing regarding its storage has been indicated. Digital Chat Station indicates that it should have 4,600 mAh with 80W charge support, with the phone weighing 180 grams and having a thickness of 7.58 mm. This goes against data found in the FCC, which indicates that the international variant may have differences compared to the Chinese version.

The cell phone would still have a 64 MP main camera with an Omnivision OV64B sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide secondary and a 32 MP for optical zoom with a Sony IMX709 sensor, while at the front it also uses this 32 MP sensor for selfies.

Regarding the Reno 10 Pro, the informant indicates that it should have a slightly larger screen, 6.74 inches, with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels, in addition to changing the main rear camera for a 50 MP one with a Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), keeping the other cameras.

It may also have the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, accompanied by the MariSilicon X NPU, while it is thinner and heavier than its simpler brother, with 7.68 mm thick and 186 grams. Finally, it should keep the 4,600 mAh battery, but support faster charging, 100 W.

Now it remains to wait for the duo to become official in China to confirm everything about them, on the 24th of May. Until then, there’s still time for more revelations.
