Pablo Olivares, chosen by Maximiliano Pullaro to manage the Economy

The situation, once again, led him to show another letter from the future cabinet in case he won: in the midst of the convulsed situation due to the devaluation jump this week, Pullaro brought to light the economist and professor at the National University of the Coast, Pablo Olivares. First, in a meeting with other leaders on Thursday in the capital. And this Friday afternoon he showed up with him in a meeting at the Rosario Stock Exchange.

There was no announcement, but the gesture confirms that Olivares is on point to occupy the Economy portfolio, key in a possible future government of the radical.

The candidate for governor, who on September 10 will compete with the Peronist Marcelo Lewandowskiheld a first working meeting with Olivares to, as reported later, analyze the “critical” economic situation, the instability and the impact that the latest measures of the national government cause in the province.

They were not alone. The meeting participated Clara Garcia and Jose Corralwho head the list of deputies from United to Change Santa Fe; the candidate for mayor of Santa Fe Juan Pablo Polettito the senate of La Capital Julio Garibaldi and the local council Silvina Cian.

“We study the issues together with the references of our technical teams because the people of Santa Fe are having a hard time and we see a lot of improvisation in the national government that leads (Sergio) Massa and Cristina (Kirchner). And, also, we notice the inaction of the provincial government of Omar Perotti”, Pullaro raised, punishing the current provincial president and rival in the fight for the seats in the provincial lower house.

“We are going to continue with work meetings to coordinate government policies. We are working to make the best decisions so that the residents of Santa Fe in each region have the possibility of growing with the best prospects. It is what they ask me in each tour. Support production, employment, improve education, health and efficiently manage the State to bring improvements to each region”, said Pullaro.

A day later there was a meeting between the candidate and the top managers of the Rosario Stock Exchange and again the economist was with him.

In the meeting, in which the mayor also participated Paul Javkinprojects for the development of agricultural and agro-industrial activity were addressed.

The entity presented Pullaro and his team with the Public Affairs Agenda, a document that they prepared with their peers from the Santa Fe Stock Exchange for the economic and social strengthening of the province.

Those four years he was Gonzalo Saglione’s second in the economic portfolio, with whom since 2020 they have been partners in a private consultancy. He currently advises the block of provincial senators of the UCR.
