The socialite, model, businesswoman and DJ, Paris Hilton, and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed their first baby this week, news that both boasted on social networks.
“You are already loved beyond words,” Hilton, 40, wrote on her official Instagram account, next to a photo of her hands holding those of her baby, who turned out to be a little boy. Carter, 40, also shares a daughter with his ex, Laura Bellizzi.
The birth of this baby, which was achieved via surrogate, comes more than a year after the couple tied the knot in an extravagant private ceremony in Bel Air, Los Angeles, in November 2021.
“I love being married. I feel like I finally found my perfect match and I feel so safe,” Hilton told People magazine, referring to her marriage to Reum. “I finally have my home and I can’t wait to start a family and have kids.”
And it is that one of the biggest dreams of the businesswoman was to become a mother, which she had not been able to crystallize due to various health problems. In 2022, the couple began their plans to become parents, beginning the process of in vitro fertilization (IVF) during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
