Diablo 4 is finally here – at least almost. We’ll have to wait until June before we can kick the spiky ass of nasty creatures from hell again. But we got a foretaste in the past few weeks, because two long beta weekends were on the agenda – and of course we were right in the middle of it. In our large 20-page cover story, we tell you, among other things, what our four beta testers took away from the two weekends of play and what you – our readers – think in our large Diablo 4 survey on the website of Blizzard’s new monster hunt.

Apart from that, we’re taking a last look at Dead Island 2 before the test is due to start soon – more on that soon at www.pcgames.de or in the next issue. We also used the early access phase of Sons of the Forest to get a first impression of the long-awaited survival sequel – editor Michi recorded his experiences in a survival diary. And Redfall, the latest work by Dishonored and Prey makers Arkane Studios, we were able to play extensively for the first time – and to our surprise we were presented with a loot shooter. The test part is a little thinner this month – there have only been a few releases in the last four weeks – but the remake of Resident Evil 4 is a real highlight.
