The executive vice-president of Reconquête underlined the similarities of the government’s pension reform with that of Éric Zemmour’s program during the presidential campaign.

During the presidential campaign – where his party won 7% in the first round – Éric Zemmour had indeed proposed a pension reform with the postponement of the legal retirement age to 64, the revaluation of small pensions, a senior index. .. so many proposals present in the current government project.
“Today, Emmanuel Macron takes up a number of proposals that had been made by Éric Zemmour. But these proposals were part of a general vision of politics”, she says on our antenna.
She then develops: “There is an imbalance in the current system, but following the implementation of this reform, it is absolutely not guaranteed that there will be a general increase in the number of workers. ” The representative of the Reconquête party wants a better employment and birth rate policy. An argument already put forward by Jordan Bardella during a debate on pension reform organized on BFMTV.
An “ultra unionized” France
Even if she understands the “exasperation” and the “feeling of injustice” of the French, mainly opposed to the pension reform according to the latest poll “L’Opinion en direct” from the Elabe institute for BFMTV on Wednesday, Marion Maréchal opposes the blockages planned for the next few days, in particular next January 31.
“Once again, we find ourselves with a deadlock […] It is the expression of an ultra-unionized France, which is not entirely legitimate to carry the voice of the French”, she considers.
According to her, the mobilization in the street and the shift in general opinion in the polls are not necessarily a reaction to the increase in the retirement age, but rather the “manifestation of opposition to the person of Emmanuel Macron.
