Dhe other remains of a human body, including a head, were found on Tuesday in the Parisian park of Buttes-Chaumont, the day after the discovery of part of the body of a woman in a bag, we learned from source close to the investigation, confirmed by the Paris prosecutor’s office.
The investigators made this discovery in “mid-morning”, during a “raking”, a thorough search of the park, said this source, confirming information from the television channel BFMTV. “The identification is in progress,” added the prosecution.
A very popular place
Monday around 2:30 p.m., municipal parks and gardens officers discovered the first remains. They had seen, under a pile of green waste, a plastic bag containing a woman’s pelvis and thighs. She was still dressed in “blue jeans” with a “floral decoration” at the thigh, a police source said on Tuesday.

The park, a very busy place in northeastern Paris, had been evacuated and closed to the public on Monday. It was still on Tuesday morning, to allow the sweep. The body parts must now be autopsied, according to the source close to the investigation.
There was no evidence on Monday to date the victim’s death, the Paris prosecutor’s office said.
