Through a statement, the Beta Group of Piedras Negras, dependent on the National Institute of Migration (INM) in the state of Coahuila, announced the rescue this Wednesday of three minors who were alone on an islet in the Bravo River.

Following an alert issued by the National Guard (NG)elements of said group headed by water and land towards the coordinates of the so-called Mute Island.
On board an airboat, INM personnel found three girls in the dry brush. The eldest protected the youngest in her arms, while a third carried a backpack on her back.
In the aircraft they were provided with life jackets and their health status was checked.
On dry land, from Mexican side, were awaited by personnel from the INM and the GN, where one of them reported that they were sisters from El Salvador and were 9, 6 and 1 year 6 months old.
They were under the guardianship of System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF) local, for your attention and care.
