The two men suspected of having fled the comedian’s car after the accident were arrested and placed in police custody on Wednesday.

Five days after the accident involving Pierre Palmade, the two individuals suspected of having been in the actor’s car at the time of the events were taken into custody on Wednesday. They had extracted themselves from the vehicle just after the collision with the car in which a family was.

• A Moroccan national arrested in Hauts-de-Seine

The first suspect is a 33-year-old man, of Moroccan nationality, and in an irregular situation. He was arrested Wednesday morning around 6:30 a.m. in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine).

This individual had been seen the day before the accident, on Thursday, alongside Pierre Palmade. He had gone to a pharmacy to buy syringes. It was the use of his bank card to pay them that allowed the police to find him.

The woman he was staying with was also taken into custody.

• A man known for drug trafficking cases

The second man suspected of being in Pierre Palmade’s car was arrested and taken into custody during the day. He presented himself to the authorities, according to our information. A few hours earlier, he had announced his intention to surrender through his lawyer.

The suspect is a 34-year-old man known for drug trafficking. He had been, with three other people and Pierre Palmade, at the actor’s home since Thursday, the day before the accident. Pierre Palmade met them via apps, and had paid relationships with some.

After five days of hospitalization, Pierre Palmade was deemed fit to be heard by the investigators. He was therefore placed in early afternoon under police custody as part of the investigation opened for “manslaughter” and “involuntary injuries by driver under the influence of narcotics”, announced the prosecutor of Melun.

According to concordant sources at BFMTV, Pierre Palmade was transferred to Melun hospital for this police custody which can last up to 48 hours. The investigators hope to be able to clarify the circumstances of the road accident in which Pierre Palmade is involved.
