Every weekend subscribers to xbox live gold can enjoy the benefit of Free Play Days, which lets you download and play a selection of video games for free on your Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. On this occasion, those selected include the new Saints Row, For The King and Cricket 22.

The new Saints Row served as a reboot for the franchise, coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC consoles in late August of last year. Although it didn’t get the reception Embracer Group hoped for, the new Saints Row offers a very fun sandbox experience that’s worth playing for this weekend, especially if it’s free.

Cricket fans also got a treat this weekend as from today through Sunday they will be able to download and play Cricket 22 on their Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. This game recently arrived on Xbox Game Pass, so if you’re a subscriber to that service you won’t have to stop playing it once the Free Play Days weekend is over.

The third game selected for Free Play Days is For the King, which is 75% off for the following days and can be purchased for just $109.75 in the Xbox store. This action-adventure game combines elements of the roguelike genre with board games in a gameplay that combines strategy with turn-based combat.

Remember that the benefit of Free Play Days or Free Game Days is available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, to which Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have access. Saints Row, For the King, and Cricket 22 are free to download on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from today until Sunday, January 8 at midnight, so make the most of the time.
