The first step to follow is to turn on the console and press the Triangle button, so as to move the cursor to the top right corner of the screen. Then select the icon settings (the one in the shape of a gear) and go to the section ‘Users and accounts’then click on ‘Link to other services’: at this point there is nothing left to do but scroll through the list and select Discord. You will thus be taken to a particular screen divided into two parts: the links to follow for the connection are indicated on the left and the code for the procedure on the right. Then go to the official site for activation after logging in with the right Discord account. This step can be performed via the console by pressing the button at the bottom of the screen, but it is preferable to complete the step via a computer or mobile device on which you already have access to Discord, in order to speed up the connection process. Regardless of the system used, once you visit the portal you can type the six-digit alphanumeric code to complete the link between Discord and your PlayStation Network account.
It should be noted that users who have connected between the two platforms in the past to allow friends to view the activity in progress on PS4 / PS5 will have to repeat these steps.
