Among the latest updates made by Nintendo today, five relate to the manufacturer’s flagship games on mobile. What should fans of Mario Kart Tour, Pokémon Masters or Fire Emblem Heroes expect?

If you’re a Nintendo fan, you probably find yourself juggling between different free-to-play mobile titles to give your Switch some respite. I have to say that the manufacturer’s biggest franchises have also established their quarters on iOS and Android in episodes which, very often, constitute an ideal entry point to practice before launching into the bath. Take Fire Emblem Heroes, for example, whose great accessibility has led many newbies to take an interest in one of the best tactical role-playing game series on consoles! That’s good, Fire Emblem Engage is coming to Switch very soon, but until then, expect plenty of redesigns to some of Nintendo’s most popular games on mobile.
New content for Mario Kart Tour, Animal Crossing, Pokémon…
This January 4, 2023 thus sees five major Nintendo titles on mobile affected by more or less substantial updates aimed at enriching and optimizing the gaming experience through new content, of which we obviously cannot provide you with exhaustive details here. These updates concern in particular the games Mario Kart Tour, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Pokémon Masters EX and Pokémon Café ReMix.
Regarding Mario Kart Tour, the New Year’s Tour (second part of the 86th circuit) is now accessible as well as the Luigi Cup (classified) until January 11. Special badges will be awarded as login bonuses for a limited time to all players who manage to reach the Top 10, Top 100 or Top 1000.
Fire Emblem Heroes is preparing for the deployment of the latest Scions Dance event plus several special summons for the heroes Alfonse, Anna, Selkie and Lethe, to be unlocked before January 14. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is notably enhanced with new yukata collections (kinds of Japanese kimonos) on the occasion of the new year.
Pokémon Masters EX will offer new themed missions until January 18 while team event “Pichu the Cheerful” is now available for a limited time in Pokémon Café ReMix.
