No more drifting on the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers. The solution has come from the hand of the Chinese company GuliKitwhich launched a repair kit for the official controls of the big N that has its own anti-drift system.

Drift or drifting is an error that occurs in some video game console controls, in this case on the Switch, which makes the character of a game move without the gamer touching the controller, that is, the movement of a stick go anywhere without even touching it.

As a report published on the website of gizmodoThis usually occurs when the joystick components physically wear out over time and use.

The solutions, prior to the release of this kit, were either to try to ask Nintendo to fix them or to do it yourself, and in both cases they are temporary measures.

Accesible price

GuliKit promises that these joysticks are a “perfect replacement, 100% adaptable, and without difficulty”But changing Joy-Con sticks isn’t as easy as changing the batteries in a TV remote.

iFixit shared a video on YouTube of how you can change the joystick on a Joy-Con. It’s a relatively simple process, but you do need the right tools on hand. PS: Doing it yourself voids the warranty on the controls.

The price of this repair kit in amazon is 30 bucks or even with a four pack for $53. In addition, this same company developed the GuliKit KingKong Pro 2, an anti-drift control that has a gyroscope, an FPS mode, amiibo support, the classic vibration and a competitive price for everything it offers, $69.99 on Amazon.
