The Pokemon Company starts the year rather well, since a new code allowing to claim a random rare item was released recently, allowing players to Pokemon Scarlet and Purple to put some Pokedollars aside to buy new accessories, more Poké Balls, or even participate in Porto Marinada auction, whose prices can sometimes be dizzying. As of today, players will be able to benefit from a Mystery Gift containing a Rare Item randomly. You may receive either a bag of Stardusta Star Piece or even a Comet Piece for the lucky ones. This new code will only be active until January 15, 2023 at 1 a.m. (local time)so we advise you to hurry to claim it if you are interested in its content. We explain how to do it:

Summary of the Pokémon Scarlet / Purple Walkthrough

Like most of Game Freak’s other games, Pokémon Scarlet/Purple Mystery Gifts come in the form of codes of up to 16 characters, like the ones you can grab from Nintendo eShop. However, these must be entered directly into play, and although this maneuver requires an Internet connection, a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service is not necessary. Know that some Mystery Gifts do not require a code to be claimedbut this is not the case today. Here’s how to proceed if you’ve never claimed a Mystery Gift before:

• Launch your game and go to the Menu (button X).
• Select tab Poke Portal.
• Choose the option Mystery Gifts.
• Select Via a code or password.
• Enter one of codes following:
  • “MAKE WA2A MACH 1NE”
  • “ENJ0 YG0U RUME T”
• Choose Object to get some Stardusta Star Piece or one Comet Piece.
