Any obstacles that impede progress in an open world environment will certainly be a source of annoyance for players around the world, but a player of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has shown that getting around some of the walls in the region of pales it’s quite easy.

Unlike most previous games in the beloved franchise, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduce players to a truly open world that they can freely explore, setting the stage for a whole new type of Pokémon adventure.

The Paldea region, an all-new region introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, is a vast and colorful region filled with many different environments. Largely based on the real world of Spain, players can travel with their Pokémon through rolling green fields, harsh deserts, and rugged mountains, each offering their own ecosystems of wild Pokémon that players can find and capture.

These numerous biomes are populated by over 100 new Pokémon brought to the table by the latest generation of games, and now players can enjoy a journey with them that incorporates many of the same aspects of open-world gameplay that were first introduced. time with Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

While players are generally free to choose their own path in the Paldea region and tackle the various challenges and gyms in any order they like, some locations are locked until players progress through the game and through the story. While these roadblocks are there for a reason, a fan known on Reddit by the username ZekromHyruda has shared a video on the site that demonstrates that getting around these roadblocks can be quite easy.

The video included in the post shows the player riding on Koraidon, one of the new Legendary Pokemon that also serves as the players’ primary mode of transportation around Paldea, and simply jumping off the edge of the barricade with a swift motion.
