Unknown persons are said to have attacked a 12-year-old on an S-Bahn on Friday evening, February 10th. Federal police officers then found two suspects at the Kray-Nord stop.

At around 8:15 p.m., a Deutsche Bahn employee informed the federal police about a physical altercation on the S 2 (Dortmund – Essen). A group of four is said to have attacked a twelve-year-old when they stopped in Essen-Kray Nord. At the stop, the four young people are said to have boarded the S-Bahn. One of the strangers is said to have remained standing in the doorway, while the other three are said to have pulled the Essen woman’s hair, hit her with their fists and kicked her.

During their search, police found two teenagers

The railway employees intervened, whereupon the suspects left the S-Bahn and fled. Since the federal police were conducting a local search at the Kray-Nord station at the same time, they came across two young people (14, 15) from Essen.

The girl drove with her companion (12) to Essen main station, where federal police officers received her. According to the federal police, medical care for the victims was not necessary.

The officers secured the video recordings and are now evaluating them. The 12-year-old’s legal guardian was contacted and then took her daughter into her care. The federal police officers initiated an investigation into joint, dangerous bodily harm against the young people.
