Two badly damaged cars, four people injured: That was the result of an accident that happened in Schalke on Sunday morning.
Spectacular traffic accident on Sunday morning in Schalke: Loud Police Gelsenkirchen two cars collided at around 11.30 a.m. at the intersection of Kurt-Schumacher-Strasse and the corner of Grillostrasse. One landed on the roof after the collision and was badly damaged along with the other car. A total of four people were hospitalized with injuries.
30 emergency services from the fire brigade and rescue service moved out
The first witnesses called the emergency services and reported that “a person was trapped in the vehicle”. Immediately, 30 emergency services from the fire brigade and the rescue service from different guards to the site.
When we got there, however, it turned out that this was not true. All those involved in the accident were outside of the two cars. They were examined by the emergency doctor and transported to various hospitals by the rescue service. By 12:10 p.m., the fire department’s work was over.
The police determined the course of the accident. At times, the entire crossing area was therefore completely closed to traffic.
