Police investigate theft of 30 cars in Windsor

Authorities are investigating 30-vehicle thefts that occurred in a Windsor, Connecticut neighborhood.

They are looking for three suspects that the same patrol cameras managed to capture while conducting a search.

Authorities came close to capturing the suspects driving a stolen car, prompting a high-speed police chase.

Authorities were conducting a search after receiving a call around 4:30 a.m. on Palisado Avenue for an attempted carjacking, then reported that approximately 30 more cars were robbed that night.

The vehicle involved in the pursuit was determined to be a Range Rover that was stolen from a home on Joshua Hill Road in Windsor and fled south on Route 91.

That robbery reportedly occurred on Tuesday, June 20, and the complainant describes three suspects as African-Americans wearing hooded shirts and masks.
