An unusual police operation in Duisburg main station caused a stir among travelers and passers-by on Wednesday. An Instagram user joked about the “rail replacement service on platform 5 by the NRW police”.

Another act of violence on the platform: one seriously injured

In order to find out exactly what happened and whether more people were involved in the act of violence, federal police investigators are now evaluating the video recordings from the surveillance cameras.
