A Boston Police Department patrol car was involved in an accident overnight in the Dorchester section of the city.
The accident occurred around the corner of Page Street and Glenway Street, not far from Blue Hill Avenue and Franklin Park Zoo, the department confirmed.
A weapon was recovered and an arrest was made, police added.
No injuries were reported.
