A 46-year-old woman identified as Rosalina F. was arrested in the last few hours in the Santa Clara de Posadas neighborhood as she was the main suspect in setting fire to her ex-daughter-in-law’s home in the La Paz de Posadas neighborhood. The victim, a 26-year-old girl, her underage daughters, and her 18-year-old sister who suffered injuries, kept the clothing.

The troops of the 9th Police Station learned of the fire through 911 and immediately went to the place. Once there, they verified what had happened and that several residents were trying to put out the fire, for which they requested the presence of the Fire Department, presenting staff from the San Isidro, Centro and Itaembé Guazú Divisions to put it out.

In this context, the agents spoke with the girl, who stated that moments before the event, her ex-mother-in-law with whom she has a precautionary measure of removal, broke into her house, verbally assaulting her, then took a can of fuel and began to spray it all over. the property, the incident started and he fled.

As a result of the incident, his 18-year-old sister suffered first-degree burns on both legs, for which she was urgently transferred by ambulance to the Ramón Madariaga hospital for treatment and is out of danger. Meanwhile, she and her two youngest daughters were unharmed.

Subsequently, with data collected by the victim and neighbors, they located Rosalina in the Santa Clara neighborhood where she was detained.

After being assisted by a doctor, since she presented burns on one of her arms, she was detained at the 9th Police Station at the disposal of Justice.

The Scientific Police Division of Regional Unit X, together with the Firefighters personnel, carried out the rigorous tests.
