The calm of the real estate market is changing little by little in the province of Buenos Aires. In this sense, March closed with a total of 6,635 sales in the province of Buenos Aires. The data, collected monthly by the Buenos Aires Notaries Association, represents a year-on-year increase of 2.17 percent since in the third month of 2022 6,494 deeds had been registered.

Regarding the comparison with the previous month, an increase of 56 percent is evident over the 4,253 operations recorded in February of this year.

In addition, there was a month-on-month increase in mortgages. The 702 in March were 22.08 percent above those in February (575). However, the year-on-year comparison in this concept marked a drop of 10 percent compared to March 2022 (780).

“The market situation has not changed. We continue to observe small variations that do not represent a consolidation of the activity”, indicated the President of the College of Notaries of the Province of Buenos Aires, Diego Leandro Molina.

“In any case, as we have said in previous months, we hope that the trend is that of a market that can improve in the coming months, beyond the economic instability and the fact that it is an election year,” added Molina.
