CDMX.- The national leader of the PRD, Jesús Zambrano, demanded that the National Electoral Institute sanction the president of Morena, Mario Delgado, after it was determined that the letter that he sent to the Governors of his party to promote the candidates was illegal. presidential, called “corcholatas”.
He pointed out that the INE Complaints Commission determined that said letter is illegal, for which Delgado was ordered to suspend any other request that implies the promotion of his candidates for the presidential candidacy.
Zambrano stated that in Mexico the electoral processes must be respected, so that nothing and no one violates the law with anticipated campaign acts.
“The leader of Morena acts as a gang leader by constantly violating the electoral law and continuing to promote corcholatas, despite the measures and restrictions that, in accordance with the law, have been resolved by the INE advisers.
“We are going to continue demanding that the electoral authorities sanction the electoral delinquents of Morena for violating the law, and we tell the corcholatas to get to work, to attend to the country’s problems,” he said.
Zambrano pointed out that public servants must adjust their conduct to the limits and constitutional parameters, so that they stop preparing and sending documents in which they request any public servant of the three levels of Government to carry out any similar conduct.
“We from the PRD have raised our voices to denounce all these actions. The intention of the anti-democrats to eliminate the INE to commit their tricks, violate democracy, not respect electoral processes is clear,” he warned.
The “corcholatas” violate the principle of neutrality with the consent of their head of the National Palace, because they are electoral delinquents, assured the PRD member.
“All this is done with the support of the tenant of the National Palace, but we reiterate it and make it clear, we are going to defend the INE, we are not going to sit idly by,” the PRD leader said in a press release.
