The national government today launched the Pre-Travel 4 program that will allow travel to local tourist destinations between May 24 and June 30 with a 50% refund on a series of services.

The Ministry of Tourism published today in the Official Gazette Resolution 107/2023 that launches the initiative.

“After three successful editions in which more than 6 million Argentines mobilized, the fourth edition of PreViaje begins,” highlighted the area’s minister, Matías Lammens, on his social networks.

According to the established schedule, as of today, providers who want to join the program will be able to register. Between April 19 and 25, services can be purchased and the upload of vouchers will be enabled until the 28th of this month.

The travel period in which you can travel enjoying this benefit is from May 24 to June 30, including long weekends from May 25 to 28 and from June 17 to 20.

The page to carry out the procedure is previaje.gob.ar and it is entered with the username and password of My Argentina Level 3.

In this way, the operation for a tourist is as follows: 1) the tourist must define the travel destination, date and services 2) Choose the providers of each one of them -transfer, hotel, excursions, etc- from the list of registered 3) Make the contract 4) Load the payment vouchers 5) You will receive a preloaded card with an amount equivalent to 50% of the expenses entered that can be used in businesses that accept it until October 31, 2023.

Hiring from travel agencies, lodging, flights and long-distance buses have a maximum refund of $70,000. All other lenders are capped at $5,000 total.

The list with the reference prices for each service is also available on the previaje.gob.ar page.

The benefit can be accessed by any natural person over the age of 18 through their CUIT or CUIL, who has an account in Mi Argentina with identity validation by biometric data (level 3) and who declares an address in the country. The information entered by the beneficiaries and the providers will have the nature of an affidavit.

It should be noted that there is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be submitted, but the minimum value of each must be $1,000. In turn, to access the benefit, advance purchases must be made for an amount equal to or greater than $10,000, which implies a refund of $5,000.

The regulations also establish that the beneficiaries have the obligation to report the eventual cancellation of a trip or tourist service uploaded on the platform, within a period of up to 20 days before the date of the trip or provision of the service.

In case it is only a rescheduling, it is not necessary to inform. The credit will be available from the date originally declared.
