Nobility expert Lisbeth Bischoff was a guest on “Vorarlberg LIVE” on Monday.

If there was ever any doubt as to whether British royals read tabloid reports about themselves, Prince Harry’s autobiography has dispelled it. Not only do they read them, but as informants they are often behind them themselves, at least if Prince Harry is to be believed.

Ahead of the official release of his book, titled ‘Spare’, on Tuesday, the 38-year-old has revealed his motives for an unprecedented display of the inner workings of the British royal family in multiple television interviews in the UK and US.

The Dornbirn nobility expert Lisbeth Bischoff, who was a guest at Vorarlberg LIVE yesterday, does not see the British monarchy in danger from Harry’s accusations. According to Bischoff, this revenge campaign is very bad for the sympathy of the 38-year-old and his wife Meghan himself.

As has become increasingly clear over the past week, Harry is not mincing his words in the book, which accidentally ended up in Spanish bookstores last Thursday. He describes experiences, arguments and feelings in an unprecedented level of detail. Including, according to him, a physical attack by his brother William (40) not long ago.

“Of course, that throws a different light on the flagship heir to the throne,” said Bischoff, “but it is well known that William is a bit short-tempered.” It was also always thought that the two brothers were so intimate with each other, “that’s apparently not true.” The nobility expert also sees a certain rivalry as a reason for the brothers’ breakup. “The main concern is always the heir to the throne, who is brought up very differently than the second-born. So Prince Harry always had to take a back seat to William.”

Harry is said to have received an upfront payment of the equivalent of 20 million euros for the biography, which he co-wrote with ghostwriter JR Moehringer. He has announced that he will donate a portion of the proceeds.

The broadcast “Vorarlberg LIVE” is a cooperation between VOL.AT, VN.at, Ländle TV and VOL.AT TV and is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. There’s more here.
