The eldest daughter of the kings of Spain, who will turn 18 on October 31, completed her international baccalaureate studies last May at the UWC Atlantic College, in Wales (United Kingdom), and will complete her military training before starting his studies at the University, as did his father, King Felipe VI.

The monarch, who entered the same academy 38 years ago, acknowledged to journalists that he gave “a lot of advice” to his eldest daughter, among them, that she be “very attentive and allow herself to be advised” by the rest of her classmates and companions.

Leonor de Borbón begins today her journey to be the first woman to hold the supreme command of the Armed Forces when she comes to the throne of Spain and follows in the footsteps of her father and previously her grandfather, King Juan Carlos.

The General Military Academy of Zaragoza has prepared a specific study plan for the princess, since she will have to take two courses in one.
