CDMX.- On the day of his 36th birthday, Michael B. Jordan posed next to the Angel of Independence on Paseo de la Reforma, the most important avenue in Mexico City.

At 5:18 in the afternoon, Jordan arrived in a couple of Suburban trucks, accompanied by bodyguards. He got off for a few minutes to have his photos taken as part of the Photo Moment and with the sunset in the background.

“Happy birthday,” some nearby fans yelled at him. “Thank you, 36 years are not fulfilled every day,” Jordan replied while he posed for the Mexican press.

Before he got out of the truck, people passing by on Paseo de la Reforma stopped and took out their cell phones to film. “Don’t stain, it’s Creed’s,” said some men who were sitting on the bench.

Wearing a tailored suit, Jordan conquered the cameras with his presence, bearing and smile. He thanked the press while around 10 fans recorded with his mobile device. He got in his truck and drove off.

Michael B. Jordan was visiting Mexico to promote his directorial debut in Creed III, a spin off of the Rocky saga. In this film he debuted as a director.

The actor appeared in the 2015 movie Creed to play Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed in Rocky.

Jordan also played a Marvel villain in Black Panther, though he redeemed himself in the end.
